Michael Rothenstein: Exploding the Boundaries

Colchester’s oldest art gallery, The Minories, reopens this summer with a major new exhibition of artworks by ‘Britain’s most experimental graphic artist’, Michael Rothenstein.

With over 40 artworks on display as well as rarely seen items such as Rothenstein’s printing plates and test plates visitors will be able to explore the physical process of printmaking while enjoying the newly opened historical building.

A special exhibition opening event will be held on Saturday 19 Aug, 12pm – 2pm and is free for everyone to attend. The exhibition will run until Sunday 24 Sep 2023 and will be open to visitors free of charge on Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun, 10am – 4pm.

Please note that this exhibition starts on the second floor and is accessed by steps.
